I know your struggle first hand
Ten years ago, my husband and I were exactly where you are. (Well maybe not exactly.)
We desperately wanted another child but were diagnosed with secondary infertility. It was one of the most difficult experiences I’ve ever had to deal with. We had one beautiful daughter but I always knew, in my heart and mind, we would have more children.
After two years of struggle and searching for answers we were blessed with a healthy set of twins. This experience, which so many of us share, led me to my life’s work. I never knew at the time that things would turn out better than I ever expected.
Although my ending is joyful and happy, getting through the fertility journey wasn’t easy. I knew going through my journey that if I made it out in one piece, I would help others also get through. I learned so much going through the process.

Week 1
You’ll learn exercises to alleviate anxiety and fear. Plus you’ll get to experience a self-care technique and breathing exercise. You are the vessel that will carry the baby. You need ample energy to create life.
Week 2
You’ll discover how mindfulness can ease emotional pain and regulation. Find joy again. We’ll introduce you to a sensory eating exercise, that will help to cultivate mindfulness.
Week 3
We’ll show you how perspective can improve your ability to cope with strong emotions. Plus we’ll guide you through a cognitive restructuring exercise that will help you overcome negative and reactive thinking.
Week 4
You’ll learn how to tap into the mind-body connection and how the fight or flight response impacts your fertility. We will activate our parasympathetic nervous system using the relaxation response.
Week 5
You’ll participate in a guided Fertility Yoga class with a fertility yoga instructor. You’ll learn how to reconnect with your body again and further deepen the relaxation response.
Week 6
We’ll show you hypnosis can help with the emotions surrounding infertility. You’ll experience the power of a self-hypnosis exercise to help you cope and thrive with the roller coaster of emotions.

Amira
I am Amira Posner. A Social Worker and Hypnotherapist with a private practice geared to helping individuals and couples struggling with infertility. I was a social worker before I became a fertility warrior. It is 14 years later and I can confidently say that I have been there, done that and I am now here to help you. It was my very own struggle with secondary infertility that eventually led me to develop this group and my now my career. I am dedicated to improving your infertility experience.
Simone
I’m Simone, fertility doula and yoga instructor. When my husband and I started trying to conceive in our late 20s, I thought it would be easy! I didn’t even know that I had endometriosis. After a year, I needed to find some strategies to help me cope with the stress, anger and resentment that infertility was causing. I started prioritizing my self-care. I attended a few retreats, practiced mindfulness daily, and found Amira’s Mind-Body Fertility support group.
My experiences led me to quit my job as an elementary school teacher and become a fertility doula because I know how little emotional support most people get in the medicalized world of infertility and endometriosis. For the past few years, I’ve been co-facilitating the same support group that made a huge difference in my life!
